Real partnerships, real deployments, grouped by the solution they prove. Hydrogen from water is Solution 1; formates from waste glycerine is Solution 2. Ammonia, methanol and mining are applications of the hydrogen, not solutions of their own.

Solution 1 · Hydrogen

Applications of Solution 1

Ammonia, methanol and mining decarbonisation all consume hydrogen. Each is a market for Solution 1 rather than a separate solution of the platform.

GreeNH3
GreeNH3 · Ammonia
Green Ammonia programme

Synthetic fertiliser feeds over half the world's population. Its production via Haber-Bosch demands hydrogen at pressure. Supercritical's electrolyser integrates directly into the synthesis loop, eliminating the compressor and transforming the economics of green ammonia. This is not a future aspiration: it is the operating principle of our system today.

Zero Mining
Zero Mining · Mining
BHP × Think & Act Differently

Mining is among the most energy-intensive industries on earth. From extraction to processing, the sector accounts for a disproportionate share of global emissions. The Zero Mining programme, backed by BHP through the Think & Act Differently accelerator, demonstrates how Supercritical's technology can provide a credible net zero pathway for heavy industry where direct electrification is not viable.

Renewable methanol for shipping
Methanol · Shipping fuel
HAMR Energy × Supercritical

Renewable methanol is one of the strongest pathways to decarbonising shipping – but only if the economics work. A government-backed programme with HAMR Energy is integrating Supercritical's high-pressure platform into a hybrid plant design, to reduce cost and complexity across the methanol production process.

Solution 2 · Formates

Speciality chemicals from waste glycerine

Solution 2: the same reactor applied to a carbon-rich waste stream rather than water.

Glycerine to formates and hydrogen
Glycerine → formates
UK biodiesel sector × Supercritical

The UK biodiesel industry generates hundreds of thousands of tonnes of crude glycerine annually, a waste stream disposed of at cost. Supercritical's electrochemical platform converts it directly into formates and clean hydrogen in a single continuous process. A commercially viable, subsidy-free green chemistry pathway, with de-icing as the lead application and a first commercial plant targeted by 2028.
